Marciano Estate’s vision has a purity of purpose: to continue perfecting winemaking as
a passion. Through experimentation, technological ingenuity, and collaboration
between Napa’s foremost winemakers, Marciano Estate plans to release only the
finest wines from its St. Helena property.
The winery’s mission is to create a selection of exceptional wines that
powerfully portray each vintage’s singular character and complexion, as well as
exhibit the terroir’s extraordinary Napa Valley vines and dynamic winegrowing
traditions, which date all the way back to the mid-19th century.
All the wines are named in honor of owner Maurice Marciano’s visceral sense of
belonging the first time he visited the idyllic Napa terrain, destined to
become the winery. Terra Gratia, means “land of gratitude” in Latin,
and Massiglia is the ancient name for the town of Marseille in France
and Maurice’s childhood home.
