There is a rudimentary, yet enlightening hand-drawn map of Montrachet that hung on the wall, detailing the mosaic of ownerships that constitute the most famous white vineyard in the world. That cartographic lean is carried over to their labels, each bottle adorned with a map illustrating the location of each climat that Leflaive owns vines within. They are obviously proud of their holdings, but more than that they are proud of the ecologically friendly techniques they use to make their wines, techniques that have embraced wholeheartedly biodynamism.
