In early 1999, Etablissement Jean-Pierre Moueix, purchased a property in Pomerol called Château Certan-Giraud. The property consisted of two distinctly different parcels; the parcel on the elevated part of the property was renamed Château Hosanna and the remaining parcel was later sold. Located in the center of the Pomerol plateau, Hosanna lies between the appellation’s most well known properties. On the north side is Château Lafleur, to the east is Château Petrus and to the south are Vieux Château Certan and Château Certan de May.
