Wine & Spirits magazine named Estancia Top Estate Winery of the Year in its annual Buying Guide 2000, to be published November 1999. The recognition follows on the heels of another honor, as Food & Wine magazine chose the Estancia as White Wine Value of the Year in its October issue. In announcing the most recent award, Wine & Spirits Publisher and Editor Joshua Greene said, "The winery has impressed us for its consistency, particularly in the Reserve line from the Pinnacles vineyard in Monterey.
