Paolo Fornaser seems like he’s on to something with his Monte Faustino estate. This is our first introduction to the wine and our tastings left us even more convince of the quality revolution taking place in the Veneto. This, like the Grassi or Bussola wines, is pretty progressive stuff utilizing the superior Corvinone clone of Corvina and extended aging in smaller French barrels.
