Plata Wine Company (PWC) is an urban winery committed to crafting world class wines from meticulously grown grapes. Plata Wine Company has 9 and a half acres of vineyards in Paso Robles, where we are adamant about keeping the crop yields low. PWC strives to make wines that showcase the terroir of the wine. We make our wines along the lines of the classic French winemaking traditions, which spotlight the character of the grapes and vineyards.
We believe that a well made wine tells a story. Wine should tell the story of the land, the air and the season where the grapes are grown. One just has to smell and taste the wine to listen to the tale. All of our wines are hand crafted, and made in small lots, to ensure that our wines tell this tale.
Artwork We incorporate our passion of wine with our love of art. Los Angeles graffiti art, specifically. We live in Los Angeles, a land that has been our home since we were babies. Los Angeles is a place of color and sunshine; a place of different cultures; and a land of flavor and spice. What better way to showcase our city and culture than to use the art that is spread around our city, from freeways to art galleries. We have established relationships with some of the greatest graffiti artists in the world, that are also LA based, to create unique and striking imagery for our labels. Plata Wine Company strives to make small lot wines that are both interesting to look at visually, and absolutely delicious to drink. Cheers! |
