Now Viewing: Livio Felluga
All the grape varieties grown on the Felluga estate are to be found in the vineyards at Rosazzo. They range from widely cultivated types such as Pinot Grigio (Pinot Gris), Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot to native varieties like Tocai, Refosco and Picolit. Friulian grape types are a source of much "local" pride as they are an essential part of any traditional Friulian estate, a model that the Fellugas tenaciously adhere to in their efforts to nurture and promote the local winemaking culture and traditions. The range of Felluga varietal wines is complemented by the now-famous Terre Alte, assembled from Tocai, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes. The estate's flagship wine, Terre Alte is emblematic of the Fellugas' winemaking philosophy and experience. Its subtle flavours and aromas have won awards both at home and abroad, and it is universally acknowledged to be one of Italy's very finest white wines.
