Baron Herzog Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon/Zinfandel/Syrah Blend is a blend of three reserve vineyards: 66% Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Watts Old Vine Zinfandel, and 3% Edna Valley Syrah. The wines were produced separately, aged in American oak barrels for 13 months, and blended before bottling. The Cabernet contributes focused tannins and structured acidity, while the concentrated, old-vine Zinfandel adds classic jammy fruit and ripeness. A small amount of Syrah adds smoky notes on the nose and some spice in the finish (NOT-Mevushal).
