Tanzer Review:
Good deep red. Dark aromas of plum and smoked meat, with aromatic hints of spice and underbrush. Sweet and rich but fresh, with very good depth of flavor. Strong wine, finishing with sweet, broad, fine tannins and very good length. Slightly edgy acidity calls for a couple years of patience, though.
Other Reviews:
Fairly strong reduction blocks the nose but the rich, full and structured flavors offer excellent depth and concentration. The firm, dusty tannins are not fine or sophisticated but there is lovely finishing complexity and length. Burghound
