This is usually extremely backward and unforthcoming for Bbtard but the 2001 version is surprisingly forward with expressive white flower and honeysuckle fruit nose followed by very powerful, muscular and rich flavors yet despite all the power, there is excellent detail all underpinned by ripe, pungent acidity and impeccable balance.
