Turley’s 2003 Charbono exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a distinctive nose of new saddle leather, blueberries, and compost. Some chalky tannins in the finish need to be resolved if this wine is going to merit a 90-point score. Enjoy this rustic Charbono in its exuberant youth.
