Winemaker's notes: Village located beyond Gevrey-Chambertin, its wines sharing many of the same characteristics. The best wines are classified as Grand Cru and have their own appellation, without the need to include the name of the village. Grand Cru : Lovely ruby colour in abundance, mushroom, undergrowth nose with overtones of fig and blackcurrant. Attack clean on the palate, good structure, with well balanced, subtle tannins. Drink when fully mature after 5 or 6 years.
