Product Information:

"Pale gold color. Toasted bread, hazelnut and fresh pear on the nose, along with a hint of fresh porcini. Fine-grained and elegant in texture, with fresh flavors of apple, orange and buttery brioche. Finishes with good length and notes of lemon and lime." Stephen Tanzer

“Shows finesse, along with depth to its honey, candied citrus and mineral flavors. Lovely balance and harmony render it seamless and graceful.”
91 Points, Wine Spectator

Wine Spectator Review:
On the dry side, offering graphite and mineral aromas, grapefruit, honey and freshly baked bread flavors. Though light in weight, this shows fine intensity and a toasty, honey-accented finish. Drink now through 2011.

Parker Review:
Perrier-Jouets NV Grand Brut is a very pleasant, mid-weight Champagne that shows lovely complexity. Suggestions of smoke, roasted nuts and light honey add character to a generous core of ripe yellow fruit. The wine offers excellent overall balance and a poised finish. This is Lot L2070809871, disgorged November 17, 2007. Anticipated maturity 2009-2012.

Tanzer Review:
(lot #2940400963 on the bottle) Pale gold color. Toasted bread, hazelnut and fresh pear on the nose, along with a hint of fresh porcini. Fine-grained and elegant in texture, with fresh flavors of apple, orange and buttery brioche. Finishes with good length and notes of lemon and lime.

Other Notes:
This is a nonvintage with bottle age, giving richness along with toast. The primary fruits are melting into a full, almond and yeast wine that fills the mouth with its concentration and citrus hints. This is a style for those who like rich but dry Champagne. Wine Enthusiast
