Tibvrtini Oil is the only commercially available oil from the area of Rome. To the east of the city of Rome lie the hills of Tivoli, the ancient city of Tibvr. It is in Tibvr that the Emperor Hadrian built his extensive Villa, Villa Adriana. The land of the two estates from which this oil derives is on the ancient property of Villa Adriana. The noble families of Lolli di Lusignano and Bulgarini own the groves which grow on top of the ruins of the buildings and gardens of the ancient site.
