These sun dried Calimyrna figs are a native fruit of the Middle East, cultivated in a warm and semi-arid climate in the western Anatolia region of Turkey. Calimyrna figs have a lusciously sweet, slightly nutty flavour and a wonderfully chewy texture.They are a source of natural sugar and are also a source of fibre.
