Over the last several years, vineyard manager extraordinaire Jim Barbour has been producing tiny amounts of exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon from his personal vineyard in St. Helena. Jim’s expertise is legendary, with an all star client list, including Grace Family, DR Stephens, Husic and Revana. He entrusts the winemaking to the equally renowned winemaker, Heidi Barrett; Jim’s maturing vineyard, planted with the famed Grace Clone of Cabernet Sauvignon, produced 250 cases in 2003. The 2003 is a beauty, inky-dark and redolent of chocolate, coffee and ripe fruits: blackberry, black cherry, and blueberry.
