A gorgeous red. Very modern, with blackberry, violet and vanilla notes displayed against a lush texture. Concentrated. Stains the palate with its intense fruit and tannins. Best from 2007 through 2018. 25 cases imported.

Aged in 80% new oak, its superripe red cherry aromatics lead to a supple personality packed with gorgeous layers of sweet red fruits. This deep, suave, fruit forward wine displays a long finish that is studded with ripe tannin Drink it between 2007 and 2013

Other Notes:
Wonderfully fresh and remarkably complex nose of earth, game and ripe pinot fruit followed by supple, rich and pure flavors that reflect superb extract and real depth. The old vine character is obvious here and this is exceptionally good for its level. (Drink 2009) Burghound
