1979 Chateau Palmer 750ML
Product Information:
The present vineyard plantings are 47% cabernet sauvignon, 47% merlot and 6% petit verdot. In the 1950's and 1960's there was a far greater percentage of merlot, 60% at its peak. In 1996 the estate decided to prioritise the petit verdot instead of the cabernet franc and in 2002 it contributed 8% of the final blend. There is a particularly high vine density of 10,000 per hectare.
