Tanzer Review:
Pale, greentinged color. Classy aromas of lime, powdered stone and spearmint. Pristine and taut, with superb innermouth energy to the flavors of citrus peel, minerals and wet stone. Finishes long and tactile, with superb richness. This is nearly impossible to spit! The classiest of a stunning set of 2004s. JeanMarie Guffens did not make any Chablis in 2005 due to an ongoing battle with the local authorities thats too complicated to explain here, but hes back in the Chablis business in a major way in 2006.
Other Reviews:
This combines the power and intensity of the Ctte de Bouguerots with even more elegance and a subtle hint of the exotic on the forcefully long finish, all wrapped in impeccable balance. This is extremely impressive juice and this too should age well for up to a decade, perhaps even a bit longer. 9194 Burghound
