Product Information: Lovely spice, berry, and currant aromas. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins and a silky, fruity finish. Very balanced. Wine Spectator (js) Wine Spectator Review: A perfumed young red, with plum and spices. Medium-bodied, with round tannins and a delicious, fruity, light spice aftertaste. There's a pretty balance to this. Best after 2011. Parker Review: A somewhat monolithic, one-dimensional effort from one of my favorite St.-Estephe estates, the medium-bodied, fruity 2005 Les Ormes de Pez exhibits sweet black currant, damp earth, and fresh mushroom-like characteristics. It should be consumed over the next 7-8 years. (2008-2016) Tanzer Review: Bright medium ruby. Black cherry, menthol and fresh herbs on the moderately ripe nose. ...decent texture...a distinct green streak to its fruit. Finishes slightly dry-edged.... Other Notes: Barrel sample.
