It was first released in 1996 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the company. Elegant, big, with velvety tannins and a long, rich finish, this is the ultimate long-ageing red. This internationally renowned red is ideal for all memorable occasions. Colour: Deep, almost black, ruby red, which turns into garnet with the aging the wine. Aroma: Aromatically sensational, with notes of ripe fruit and hints of spice and vanilla transcended from the barriques. Taste: Potent, soft and velvety with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Aging potential: Approximately 15 years. Food Match: Pairs well with meat roasts, game and spicy cheese.
