Product Information: Barrel-sample, pre racking: Moderate reduction combines with upper register red fruit aromas and spice hints that continue onto the sweet, intense and quite finely detailed medium weight flavors, all wrapped in a delicious yet somewhat somber and reserved finish underpinned by dusty tannins. I like the complexity here and finishing punch. There is more gravel in this soil than the Pruliers and Etiénne believes that the wine is always fresher with a "garrigue" characteristics. The tannins here are very fine, elegant and beautiful. Drink 2011+. Tanzer Review: Good full red. Complex nose melds redcurrant, smoke, earth and minerals open and pure. Sweet and elegantly styled, with a finegrained texture and intriguing floral and mineral notes energizing the fruit. Finishes with suave tannins, good breadth and enticing juicy lift.
