Product Information: Good red-ruby. Sexy aromas of black raspberry and roast coffee torrefaction. A step up in intensity and length from the Haut-Doix, showing a sappier dark fruit, smoke and earth character and more nerve and spine. Firmly structured wine with fine-grained tannins and finishing notes of briary berries and mocha. -Stephen Tanzer Mar/Apr 07 Other Notes: Slightly more elegant and highertoned aromas of red pinot and violets nuanced with hints of spice and earth dissolve into rich, structured and delicious flavors that are muscular to the point of being robust on the austere but long finish.
