2006 Laventure Roussanne 750ML

A superb complement to halibut. Tropical, with some pineapple and peach on the palate. The mouthfeel and exuberance were terrific, but I also really appreciated how the wine held its 14% alcohol without any obvious heat on the nose or finish. There was also a very pleasing element of nuttiness on the finish - a delicious new world Roussanne!
