Winemaker's notes: Rombauer Vineyards' 2004 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, concentrated wine that exhibits layers of plums, black cherries, and blueberries that are well integrated. The wine shows ripe fruit flavors of black cherries and plums that are nicely balanced with light vanilla and oak from barrel aging. This is a fruit driven Cabernet Sauvignon that has the tannin structure to last many years, but drinks well now. 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
