A beautiful expression of the long 2006 growing season, this blend of pinot noir fruit comes from Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Green Valley family vineyards like Dutton Brothers, Martinelli family, Charlie Chenoweth and Steve Hill. Bright strawberry and cherry flavors echo cool-climate roots, with a complex palate of mulled red berries and baking spices. Silky tannins and mouth-watering acidity make this a wonderful, structured cuvée.
Tanzer Review: Good medium red. Pure, floral aromas of cherry, raspberry and blueberry a real fruit bomb on the nose. Then juicy and pure in the mouth, with ripe acidity enlivening the wines ripe red fruit flavors. Not especially fleshy but fresh and persistent. Made from a blend of 15 sites, most of them close to the coast.
