This wine has a legendary reputation as one of the greatest vintage Ports ever produced. It is clearly outstanding, although I am not sure it is Cockburn's greatest. It is a sexy, elegant wine and drinking extremely well now. Medium garnet with a red center, very aromatic plum nose, medium-bodied, with delicious plum flavors and an elegant balance of silky tannins. 91 points - Wine Spectator (JS)
