Bouchard Nuits St. Georges Clos Des Argillieres
Tanzer Review:
Good redruby color. Red and blackcurrant aromas, along with chocolate and smoked meat. Sweet, bright flavors of cherry, licorice and minerals. Offers innermouth perfume in a way that most 2003s cant match. Finishes quite firm thanks to sound acids and underlying minerality. Still a bit youthfully reduced.
Other Reviews:
The first wine to display any wood at all and its only a background nuance, framing earthy and musky aromas and wonderfully sappy, complex and flat out incredibly long flavors that just seem to go on and on. While this is by no means the most elegant wine in the range, the power and focus displayed here are something to experience and again the persistence just doesnt stop. A terrific effort of considerable distinction. Burghound
