The 2005 Font de la Figuera is purplecolored with aromas of mineral, earth, spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry. Chunky and slightly rustic in personality, the wine has enough structure to evolve for 2 to 3 years.
Tanzer Review:
Deep red. Meaty red berry and cherry aromas are brightened by minerals and fresh flowers. A chewy, mediumbodied wine with fresh cherry and plum flavors supported by energizing acidity and moderate tannins. Gains sweetness on the finish, as well as a smoky herb quality. This is already showing very good complexity.
