Parker Review:
The most prodigious of this trio is the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville. Another superb example from that fabulous corridor in central Napa, it boasts melted licoricelike notes infused with creme de cassis, graphite, cedar, and spice. Fullbodied and dense, with silky tannins and a 40 second finish, this is a sensational Cabernet displaying the voluptuous qualities of this vintage. It can be drunk now or cellared for 15 to 20 years.
Tanzer Review:
Bright rubyred. Complex nose melds dark berries, dark cherry, black licorice, black olive and smoked meat jammy without being cooked. Suave, sweet and tactile, with more lift in the middle palate than the Rutherford is showing today. Finishes broad and fine, with very firm tannins and excellent persistence.
