The minerally undertow imparts a subtle, smoky note that blends with flavors of dried pineapple, biscuit, salted almond and white peach. A balanced version, with a fine bead and well-honed acidity. Drink now through 2018
Light, bright gold. Fresh pear and honey on the nose, with a gingery nuance adding lift. Smooth and fleshy, with good back-end lift and a lingering spicy note on the clinging finish. Shows more vivacity and cut than I've experienced with this bottling in recent years.
