Other Reviews:
A blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. This has a very savoury, very earthy nose without its usual precocity that Poyferre usually shows out of barrel. The palate is well balanced, no traces of underripe fruit, obvious a good selection here but it still lacks the complexity of the previous vintage. The palate is mediumbodied, nice expressive earthy black fruit, harmonious, not quite the length of a great vintage but certainly with finesse, especially on the finish. Drink 2012 to 2020. 89 to 91 points, Neal Martin
