WineSpectator Review:
Impressive concentration for the vintage, with plenty of currant and berry on the nose and palate. Mediumtofull body, fine tannins and a medium finish. Well done for the vintage. 88 to 92 points.
Tanzer Review:
Bright rubyred. Very pure aromas of cassis, minerals, licorice and bitter chocolate, all lifted by a note of violet. Sweet, broad and round for the vintage, with lovely energy to the flavors of cassis, chocolate, minerals, menthol and flowers. Juicy and sophisticated wine with terrific balance and no dip in the middle. Finishes with subtle complexity and length and sweet, finegrained tannins. A major success for the year. 90 to 92 points.
