WineSpectator Review:
A solid wine, with plenty of rose petal, berry and currant character. Full and chewy. Ripe and very powerful. Wait and see, but impressive for the vintage. Score range 89 to 93.
Tanzer Review:
Deep redruby. Crushed cassis, blackberry, violet, licorice and bitter chocolate on the very fresh nose. Then dense but light on its feet, with lovely ripeness to the silky flavors of black fruits, clove and bitter chocolate. Attractively sweet on the back end, with finegrained tannins and a suggestion of fig. This boasts an almost chocolatey ripeness and good minerality for the year and surprises with its firm structure. 89 tp 92 points.
