Product Information: This delicious dessert wine is made 100% with Tannat grapes by Pablo Fallabrino from Uruguay. Tannat was brought long time ago to Uruguay by French Basque immigrants. Pablo makes this intense and silky dessert wine in a traditional Italian style. I would compare this wine to a nice bottle of Port, but without the heaviness of alcohol. It opens with aromatic hints of vanilla, caramel and figs, but on the palate, there is crème de cassis and plenty of blueberries. I would pair this wine with a nice piece of chocolate cake or anything with dark chocolate. Winemaker's notes - Our Tannat Dessert wine, instills a calmness with its polished tannins, radiant yet amber purple hues and its honey like texture. Touched with a bouquet of winter flowers, Madagascan vanilla bean and wild apple mint indulged with a warmth and savor of white cacao souffle. As the story ends with tranquility, so does the longsome finish of the wine. | ||||
