Lafon Rochets backward, unevolved 2008 exhibits a dense ruby/purple color along with loads of ripe tannin. While still austere and not expressing itself as impressively as I would have hoped, there is a lot here. Consequently, my judgment is somewhat conservative and reserved until this wine has had more time in the barrel.-Robert Parker Anticipated maturity 2013-2022.
