Wine Spectator Review: Sweet and silky. This is not a weighty wine, but has force behind the pear, lime and green apple flavors, finishing sweet but balanced. Parker Review: The 2009 Riesling is a medium-dry style with a light body and just 10% alcohol. It reveals intense lime juice, honeysuckle and orange blossom notes plus a little wet slate. A wonderful backbone of crisp, nervy acidity defines the palate, lingering into the long, honeyed finish. Drink it from 2012 to 2017. Other Notes: This Dry Riesling displays a wonderful array of stone-fruit and passionfruit, with a hint of ginger spice. The wine is full and textural with a concentrated core of fruit but this gently tightens to a long, clean, mineral and dry finish. A vibrant and racy wine showing real poise. | ||||
