Complex aromas of black currant, mineral and dried herbs follow through to a full body, with silky, racy tannins and a long finish. Coffee and toasty oak character. Turns to raspberry jam. Needs time to mellow. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Best after 2010.

Dark red. Beautifully pure mineral, black plum and spicy blackberry aromas are given extra lift by delicate minty and herbal nuances. Rich yet refined on the palate, offering plenty of ripe, almost chewy black plum, blackberry, cedar, mushroom and menthol flavor. The bright acidity gives focus to the flavors and keeps the wine lively and buoyant on the long, smooth finish.
