The 2009 Essence de Roussanne is a light gold color, with a big fruity nose of citrus, honey, bees wax, pineapple, and loads of spice. It is medium to full-bodied, dry and refreshing, and notably elegant for a Roussanne, which can move toward being heavy and tannic if not handled well.
