Blueberry, blackberry and mineral aromas follow through to a full body, with fine tannins and a juicy, chocolate finish, turning velvety and beautiful. Score range 90-93 points.

Parker Review:
A sleeper of the vintage, this long-forgotten estate has turned out a dense ruby/purple-colored, silky smooth 2009 offering notes of spring flowers, black cherries, raspberries, and spice. It should provide enormous hedonistic pleasures for a decade or more. 88-90 points.

Other Notes:
Tasted at JP Moueix. I always have a soft spot for La Serre and the 2009 is no different with ebullient red-berried fruit raspberry, wild strawberry and a touch of redcurrant with fine definition. The palate is very pure, very feminine with pure red fruits, filigree tannins and a silky, beautifully delineated finish. Superb. 90-92 points, Neal Martin
