Wine Spectator Review:
This shows impressive concentration, with candied kiwifruit, green plum and green tea notes offset by wonderfully pure Jonagold apple and clementine flavors. The long finish has some serious drive, exploding as it sits in the glass. Score range 91-94.

Other Notes:
What a compelling wine Chateau de Fargues has become. The 2008 has 130 g/l residual sugar and 13.7 degree alcohol. Tasted both as a blend and from lots in barrel, it has an intense, rich honeyed nose with superb definition, an almost TBA-like bouquet that is captivating. The palate is superb vibrant, honeyed, expressive, taut and beautifully defined, lingering honeyed notes laced with apricot and Seville orange towards the finish. This is one of the great 2008 Sauternes. 94-96 points, Neal Martin
