Parker Review: The 2008 Rosso di Montalcino is similarly medium in body, although it shows a touch more depth and roundness than the Morellino. An expressive, floral bouquet melds nicely with the understated fruit in this feminine Rosso. Anticipated maturity 2010-2013 Other Notes: Intense ruby red color with a violent tint. Full and aromatic. Fruit-forward aromas reminiscent of red cherries. The structure is lavishly balanced. Long finish. Combine with dishes of modern complexity such as pasta al ragu, fowl, truffles, and all meat courses. | ||||
