Deep red. Darker on the nose than the Clos d'Eugenie blackberry, bitter chocolate, menthol and licorice. Then denser and sweeter in the mouth, with a strong black cherry flavor. A distinctly masculine, more aggressive style of wine that finishes with broad, dusty tannins and a slight alcoholic warmth.

Other Notes:
This is also exceptionally fresh with a highly aromatic nose that speaks of spicy black cherry, cassis and warm earth aromas that complement the velvety, rich and solidly delineated flavors that possess excellent power, depth and persistence if not quite the finesse and refinement of the Br{lies.
