A very ripe nose stops short of being surmature but liqueur-like aromas of spiced plum and cassis introduce rich, full and reasonably well-detailed flavors that display a discreet minerality on the reasonably long finish. Like several of the wines in the range, this is mildly awkward at present and it's an open question as to whether it will come together.
