Other Notes: A ripe but not over ripe nose displays plum, floral, earth and a subtle sauvage character that gives way to very rich and textured flavors that possess real verve and punch on the textured, mouth coating and strikingly long finish. Like any number of wines in the range, there is a touch of mocha that surfaces on the finish but this is tighter and more focused with buried tannins that will require considerable patience to completely resolve. 92-94 points, Burghound | ||||
