Tanzer Review: Deep ruby. Aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and vanilla, with smoke, licorice and violet notes adding complexity. Juicy and expansive, offering pliant dark fruit flavors that pick up smoke and spice qualities with aeration. Fine-grained tannins give shape and grip to the clinging, fruit-driven finish, which features a note of tobacco. This drinks very well right now but has the balance to age. Other Notes: Ripe dark fruit, heavy oak and vanilla. Full-bodied with moderate acidity and medium tannins. Ripe dark fruit, spice, oak and vanilla on the palate. Good length.
