The 2007 Barolo Vigna Margheria, typically a powerhouse, shows an unusual level of finesse and elegance without losing its essential intensity and richness. The tannins, which can sometimes be a touch dry here, are very nicely balanced. This, too, offers plenty of vintage and house character. Anticipated maturity 2015-2022.
