Product Information:

We're pleased to be able to offer these rare offerings from Carte Blanche, a truly exciting up-and-coming Napa Valley project. Proprietor Nicholas Allen has quite the wine pedigree; his great grandfather, Clarence Dillon, purchased Chateau Haut-Brion in 1935, and subsequently acquired Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion in 1983. Allen made the wise decision to hire Luc Morlet to transform his phenomenally-sourced fruit into spectacular wines. Morlet's work at Chateau Dauzac, Newton, and Peter Michael have led to a string of critically-acclaimed, high-scoring efforts.

125 cases produced. A stunning Sonoma blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 33% Semillon from spectacular sites in Knights Valley and Alexander Valley. A bright, vivid nose shows citrus, orange blossom and stone fruits. A vibrant fresh attack reveals pear, white peach, and frangipani; while ripe tannins showcase lemon zest, wet stones and mineral notes. The finish is clean and rich with faint petrol lingering.

Wine Spectator Review:
Racy lemon, tangerine and Key lime flavors are vivid and juicy, with spicy details and touches of lanolin and chamomile. The mouthwatering acidity becomes more intense on the finish. Sauvignon Blanc and Simillon. Drink now. 125 cases made.
