Other Notes:
Producer note I tasted this visit with Vironique Drouhin and her father Robert, who noted that 2009 was a "relatively easy vintage as there wasn't much disease pressure during the growing season and as such, not much sorting work was required during the harvest. Yields were good to very good without being excessive, which is always a plus as well. We did much less bbtonnage to avoid any heaviness and indeed, to this end, we partially blocked the malos in some of the whites to add lift. While you wouldn't necessarily expect it given the ripeness profile of the '09 vintage, the wines actually reflect the underlying terroirs quite well and this is especially true for the whites."
