Pale silver-green highlights. Complex, spicy, nicely ripe aromas. Ripe, fresh, concentrated; rich, refined. Lovely lemony acidity contributes to youthful impression. Impressive intensity and flavor clarity.
Wine Spectator Review:
The 2000 Brut is round and generous in its candied apricots, honey and roasted nuts. The wine offers good length but not as much complexity or personality as I had hoped. The 2000 Brut is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. This bottle was disgorged in 2007. Anticipated maturity 2008-2012.
Pale color with silver and green highlights. Complex, spicy, nicely ripe aromas of citrus skin and minerals. Ripe, fresh and concentrated rich but refined, with a moderate dosage Lovely lemony acidity contributes to a youthful impression. Offers impressive intensity and clarity of flavor. Long and firm on the back end.
